Although the recent SARS & Bird Flu threat seems to have subsided, the Bird Flu Virus is still a major threat. The H5N1 strain is spread by wild migratory birds and could infect domestic live stock. Although it is thought that this strain of the virus cannot be transmitted between humans, it seems it can be transmitted by handling infected birds. There are concerns that current strain will eventually mutate and will then be able to be transmitted between humans |

We cannot state whether Colloidal Silver is effective against these particular viruses. But Colloidal Silver has been shown to have antiviral properties and may be an effective preventative against them. As a result of this research, we would certainly recommend Colloidal Silver as a possible preventative measure against them. For personal protection, we suggest the nutritional dose on a daily basis but remember it will take several days for the silver to reach the levels required to provide any possible protection. For foul, do not exceed the stated dose (2 ml per bird per day). Due to the virulent nature of this strain, we recommend a preventitive regime, as treatment after infection, may be too little, too late. As a result of this threat, we are making a small charitable donation to the RSPB each month, whilst the threat is with us.
