Bronchiectasis is a relatively rare condition that affects the lungs.

In this disorder the bronchial tubes become enlarged and distended forming pockets where infection may gather. The walls themselves are damaged which results in impairment to the lung’s complex cleaning system. The tiny hairs, called cilia - which line the bronchial tubes and sweep them free of dust, germs and excess mucus - are destroyed.

When this cleaning system is not working effectively dust, mucus and bacteria accumulate. Infection develops and is difficult to remove.

Hello Neil,

I've just come back to the site to order some more colloidal silver, and give you some feedback. I've been using your product for about a year, although not constantly, to see if it can help with a chronic respiratory condition I have had for many years, bronchiectasis.

I had part of a lung removed when I was ten years old due to this condition, which was caused by pollution and dairy products. Basically, pockets form in the lungs so that bacteria cannot be ejected and hence I get loads of infections.

The conventional approach is, of course, antibiotics by the bucketload, which cause loads of problems in themselves eg,. totally wreck the natural gut flora, allowing candida overgrowth etc, and eventually stop working anyway as the bacteria become resistant. As I have had the condition for many years, there are now very few prescribable antibiotics which will have any effect.

Then, about 18 months ago while I was studying anatomy and physiology (I am a holistic therapist) the tutor mentioned colloidal silver, and recommended it as an alternative to antibiotics. As he is a trained nurse who has had serious health problems, I felt he knew what he was talking about and decided to try it myself.

As a result, I have had no other antibiotics for 12 months now, and I am fine. I take 10ml of colloidal silver each night through a nebuliser so that it gets straight into my lungs. I take the same dose in the mornings when things are really bad, and I take 5 or 10 mls internally when necessary to get rid of the stomach problems which are still ongoing.

The nebuliser I use is a Medix Econoneb, obtainable from HS International, Edinburgh Way, Harlow, Essex. However, you do need a face mask and cup to nebulise in. I get mine from the respiratory department of my local hospital.

I use the 10 mls neat. To dilute it, it would be best to use purified water I think. However, it would take a long time to nebulise - 10 mls neat takes around 20 minutes.

Never dilute Colloidal Silver with tap water which contains chlorine. This will destroy the ionic silver. Filtered water (Britta) is acceptable but distilled or purified water is best. Never use saline solution because of the high chlorine content. Always thoroughly clean any equipment that has been exposed to saline before use.
