We receive many emails asking if Colloidal Silver is effective against cancer. All I can do is present certain articles that may help you decide but I will state the following.

Many Colloidal Silver web sites refer to the work of "Dr Bjorn Nordstrom of the Karolinska Institute for his work in the treatment of Cancer using Colloidal Silver and/or Silver compounds." At the time of writing, I believe these references could be false and we do not make this claim.

Why ? If you search Google for "Dr Bjorn Nordstrom", you will see a list of Colloidal Silver sites but I cannot seem to locate Dr Nordstrom himself! I have even been to the Karolinska Institute website and he is not listed. There is a "Nordstrom B" but the links are nothing to do with cancer and there is no mention of Colloidal Silver.

9/10/06 I have written to the Karolinska Institute to try and clear up this point. I will post the reply for you to see.

Many in depth articles make quotations such as:-

"Some scientists speculate that cancer is caused by a virus, but no substantial evidence of this has been established, except in cats. Does silver cure cancer by attacking the virus that causes cancer? Probably not. Rather, it's curative qualities seem closer related to it strange ability to heal injured tissues without scarring. Cancer researcher Gary Smith says he has noticed a correlation between low silver levels and sickness. He found people who have low silver levels to be frequently sick and to have frequent colds, flu, fevers and other illnesses. He states. "Success (in cancer treatment) depends on silver in the person's body when silver is present, the cancer cells dedifferentiate and the body is restored. When silver levels are. . . non-existent, the cancer growth rate. . . continues. . . because the cells cannot dedifferentiate. . . . It is the positive silver ion which we call colloidal silver (Ag+1). The colloidal silver stopped the cancer growth. Other metals did not. Dr. Becker was unable to obtain the funds to continue his promising cancer research. However, he did draw a personal opinion that the effective quality of colloidal silver in both the stimulation of bone, muscle and skin growth, was its ability to cause cells to dedifferentiate when needed, just as Dr. Gary Smith concluded."

NOTE:- I have read the entire article and there are several technical mistakes & blatant inaccuracies. This suggests the author is not technically qualified to have written the article and I would refer to the information above with the same suspicion.

Our opinion :-

It seems cancer can be caused many ways. Excessive high does of radiation, exposure to carcinogens, bacterial & viral infections etc. We believe it is easier to prevent than cure - See Mycoplasma section.

Once cancer is established, we do not believe that Colloidal Silver will affect the cancer cells directly but I do believe that the presence of silver will help to relieve the burden on the immune system so that it has the chance to perform better. This could lead to an increase in quality of life which must be desirable.

We will post more information as we receive it and please feed back your information if you have any.

Some details here; he began medical studies around 1940, worked at Karolinska and Sabbatsberg in Sweden and Ann arbour in the U.S.
Appointed man of the year at the international congress of traditional Chinese medicine, Has developed strategies concerning breastcancer, has used electricity and magnetism to treat tumours and has formulated a theory about electrical biological healing. But as I said before, I don’t know if he worked with silver. And by the way, you can trust this information, the “cancer och allergifonden” is as real as it gets!

Silver is not a big thing in Sweden regretfully. I myself was mistreated for 10 years by many doctors and specialists. Finally I discovered silver and became totally well. My x-ray scans is all that remains of my lifethreatening infection of aspergillus flavus. Silver fixed what four operations and medications at a cost of 21 000 swedish kronor per month could not.
So keep up the work your doing guys!
