Although I run this site nearly full time, I am still a registered
server specialist for IBM and get called in now and then to help
out. I was called to NTL near Reading in November 2003 to help
install some new IBM servers. As Reading is quite a distance from
Torquay, I decided to stay with an old friend in Marhull, Dorset
which is half the distance away and it was only for one week.
I didn't realise how far it was to Reading from Marnhull and
I had to drive up the dreaded A303, A34 and M4 to get to work.
This was only about 120 miles but took 3 hours each way.
The work was interesting but I was in a large computer room with
the chillers on full blast. Because of the difference in air temperature
many of the guys started to get coughs & colds and eventually
I did too. To my horror, I found I had left my bottle of Colloidal
Silver at home and by Thursday I had the full on flu. Thankfully,
I had nearly completed the installation and managed to avoid coming
in on Friday so I drove straight home to Devon, took 200ml of
Colloidal Silver and went to sleep. The next day I took 30 ml
five time at 2 hour intervals and by the evening all the symptoms
had gone.
Now, I never go anywhere with out my bottle and even keep a 200ml
bottle in the car at all times. If I am around anyone with the
flu, I take 30ml straight away and sometimes even force them to
take it too, on humanitarian grounds!
One point to note:- I am a freelance consultant not an employee.
It was only through the kindness of the IT Manager who allowed
me to finish off on Thursday night otherwise I would have lost
a full days pay on the Friday. Usually, if I am ill I do not get
paid. I recommend anyone who is not an employee (& gets paid
when ill) to take Colloidal Silver!
